CALL TO ORDER
The City of Rento� Park Board meeting No�ember 12, 2002, was called ta order at 4:30
p.m. by Chair, Ralph E�ans.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Cy�thia Burns made a motion to appro�e the �ctober minutes as written. T�e motion
was seconded, all present were in favor. Motion carried, minutes appro�ed.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Leslie Betlach� Parks Director, announced the birtt� of a son to Troy and Kim
Wig�strandg
Other announcements inciuded the Argosy Chris#mas Ship on December 5#", Clam
Lights on December 6t'' and Piazza Christmas tree light on December 7�h.
CONSENT
l.eslie re�iewed #he consent letters including a request to purchase a memorial bench
for Tom and Frances Trimm, a memorial tree for James Maucher, the increased non-

resident fees, the naming of Vetera�s Memorial Park and the Piazza group's requests
for their annual tree lighting e�ent.
Ran Regis made a motion to approve the consent agenda with #he contingency the
Piazza group must coordinate the use of the pa�ilion with the fire department and the
hangin� of th� banner wit� transportation. Marge Ric�ter seconded the motion, all were
in fa�or, motion carried consent agenda appro�ed.
�LD BUSINESS
Jon �fainga, Capital Project Coordinator, updated the Board members on the Veterans
Memorial Park project.
QTHER
There was discussion on the s#atus of the pavilion building, the Executive Summary,
May Creek property and the progress being made on the trail connection.
AUDIENCE COMMENT
Andy �'Brien introduced an ir��em working with him, Michael Knapp. Michael is a
student at Bellevue Community College pursuing a degree in the rEcreation field.
ADJOURNMENT
Cynthia Bums ma�e a motion seconded by Michael O'Donin to adjoum the meeting. All
present were in favor, the November meeting was adjourned at 5:31 p.m.
