Cheryl, can you please let me know if there is a timeline for the City Lease for Wireless Facilities so I can convey that information to Verizon. I can assure you that Verizon legal would be interested in an ability to review and respond to draft language, if that would be possible. As you know, Verizon has been making a sustained effort to improve delivery of its wireless services within the City so the ability to utilize City assets would be beneficial and consistent with other City articulated objectives. There is absolutely no obligation for the City in signing this form as you know, however I need to file the zoning while the other aspects of the proposal are in process. Please note there is no obligation on the City’s behalf and Verizon is willing to file the CUP at risk knowing that the proposed lease is the actual vehicle for any final design or other proprietary approval by the City for the project. Since the zoning requirement will take lead time, it would be helpful if we can file the CUP. Finally, is it possible to schedule access to the Electrical rooms at the Parking Garage in order to scope out that design aspect of the proposal and include that in the conceptual design? We just need a few days lead time for scheduling the EE for that access. I appreciate your help!
