Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties. Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-17-093, dated May 30, 2017,to provide necessary services for on-call supporting engineering services (referred to herein as the "Agreement"); Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the time of performance in order to allow a second survey of the existing seaplane ramp, originally anticipated in February 2018, with such work as described as"Task 2"and as called for in attached Exhibit 1 to this amendment. NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-17-093 is amended as follows: 1. Time of Performance: Section 3, Time of Performance, is amended such that all work shall be performed by no later than May 2019. 2. All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if fully set forth herein. This work will result in a recommendation for next steps to determine a temporary and permanent repair if necessary. The work will consist of the following Phases: • Phase 1—Task Management and Coordination • Phase 2—Survey(by MTN2Coastj • Phase 3—Geotechnical Review of Existing Information (by PanGEO) • Phase 4—Review of Existing Information and Recommendations Assumptions 1. The CITY is funding this study. 2. Access to the ramp for surveying will be unrestricted during typical working hours, except for gaining access to the secured airport areas. Information Provided by the CITY 1. Access to seaplane ramp. Phase 1. Survey (MTN2Coast) Task i Survey Perform a survey of the seaplane ramp, including: • Setting survey control to match the June 2017 survey. • Survey shots on the four corners and up to twenty mid points of the concrete portion of the seaplane ramp. • Survey shots on the four corners and up to ten mid points of the timber section of the seaplane ramp. • Up to two survey shots to determine the water elevation. • Comparison of this survey to the June 2018 survey and summarize information. Phase 3. Geotechnical Review of Survey Inf�rmation (PanGEO) Task 1 Geotechnical Review of Survey Information Review the survey information and available existing documentation and assess the vulnerability of the seaplane ramp to settlement based on its construction. Phase 4. Review of Survey Information and Recommendations Task 1 Review of Survey Information and Recommendation Compare the new survey to prior surveys(including ones from 2001 and 2017)to determine if and how the seaplane ramp has settled. Prepare a technical memorandum based on the survey and as-built review that recommends next steps appropriate to design temporary and final repair options for the ramp. Deliverables • Emailed PDF of technical memo summarizing assessment and recommendations for next steps.
