THE CONTRACT IS MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS:
Description of Change:
The current City Standard for concrete curb and gutter calls for 18" from back of curb to
roadway edge. In the Maple Ridge Estates neighborhood, or Map Number 1 of the
contract, the Contractor is requesting a change from City Standard to use 24" rolled
curb.
Reason for Change:
To replace the existing curb in kind, the Contractor has notified the City that a deviation
from the City Standard will be needed, and 24" rolled curb should be used.
Materials:
Plans:
This change will result in a reduction of 221 linear feet of bid item 27 (Cement Conc.
Traffic Curb & Gutter), and the addition of 221 linear feet of Rolled Cement Concrete
Traffic Curb and Gutter as new bid item 41, resulting in a net increase of $2,210.
Appendix A - Map Number 1
Extension of Time:
The Time for Completion is extended 0 Working Days.
Equitable Adjustment:
This Change Order includes a significant change 0 . See attached.
Contract Provisions:
Schedule of prices: Bid Item #27, Cement Conc. Traffic Curb and Gutter — REDUCED
Schedule of prices: Bid Item #41, Rolled Cement Conc. Traffic Curb and Gutter - ADDED
Sections 1-04.4 and 1-04.5 of the 2018 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications shall govern
this Change Order. The Work of the referenced Contract is modified to include the changes
detailed herein. The payment provided for herein shall constitute the complete and final
settlement for all costs of labor, equipment, materials, overhead, profit, permit fees, and all
other claims that may be made by the Contractor as a result of this change.
