AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, VACATING A
PORTION OF DWALL AVENUE N.E. (ARCO - VAC 004-88) .

M WHEREAS, a proper petition for vacating a portion of Duva11
C�i
� Avenue N.E . at the northwest corner of Sunset Boulevard, Renton,
�
N King County, Washington, was duly filed with the City C1erk on or

cQ about November 14, 1988, and said petition having been signed by the
owners representing more than two-thirds (2/3 ) of the property
abutting upon such street sought to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 2747 passed and
approved on December 19 , 1988 , and after due investigation did fix
and determine the day of Sanuary 23, 1989, at the hour of 7 : 30 p.m.
in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time
and place for a public hearing thereon, and the City Clerk having
given due notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law, and
all persons having been heard appearing in favor or in opposition
thereto, and the City Council having considered all information and
arguments presented to it; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of Renton
having duly considered said petition for said vacation, and having
found same to be in the public interest and for the public benefit,
and no injury or damage to any person or properties wil' resuit from
such vacation,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,

-SECTION I : The following described street, to wit: ,
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as
if fully set forth herein
be and the same is hereby vacated subject to an easement over,
across, under, and on all of the aforedescribed property in favor of

t,C) SECTION II : The City Council hereby elects to charge no
� property appraisal or payment fee.

� SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval, and thirty days after its publication.
A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the
Office of Records and Elections, and as otherwise provided by law.

dedicated to the City of Renton by City of Renton Short Plat
No. SH PL-089-87, recorded under Recording No. 8809159011, records
� of King County, Washington, more particularly described as

� BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Lot 2 of said short plat,
said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
N THENCE South 88° 02' 38" East, 5.10 feet along the Easterly
Oprojection of the North line of said Lot 2 to a point on a line
� parallel with and 50,00 feet Westerly as measured at right angles
to the centerline of said Duvall Avenue N.E. ;
THENCE South 13° 21' 13" West, 16.06 feet along said parallel
line;
THENCE South 04° 55' 36" West, 178.67 feet along said parallel
line to a point on a curve, the radius point of which bears North
