� � WHERF.AS the Cit of Renton, on its o�•m initia�ive nursuant to

� the requirement of RCW 35 . 79 determined it advisable to consider vacating

' a portion of i1. E. 12th Street ; and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No. 2347 passed and approved
on July 7 , 1980, and after �lue investigation , did fix and determine
the llth day of Au�ust , 1980 , at the hour of 8 : 00 P .M. ir� the City
C��un�:il Chamgers of the City of Renton ta be: the time and p:Lace for a '
public hearing thereon, and the City Clerk havin� given due notice of
such hearing in the manner provided by law, and all persons havin� been
hearci appeari.ng in favor. or in opposition thereto ; and
ti1HEREAS the Department of Public Works and the Planning Department
of the City of Renton having duly considered said petition for said
vacation, and having found same to be in the public interest and
for the public benefit , and no injury or damage to any person or properties
will result from such vacations ;
NOW THEREFORE , THE CITY COUi�TCIL OF THE CITY OF P�.ENTON, WASHINGTOi1,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The following described portion of iV. E. 12th St . ,
to-wit :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully set forth herein
B� AND SAME IS HEREBY VACATED
SECTION II : The City Council hereby elects to charge a fee of
to Petitioner-Owners , said amount not exceeding one-half
of the City' s appraisal of the right-of-wa_y interest herein vacated,
and such charge being reasonable and proper.
