'�' �1IiEREAS under theprovisions of RCW 35 . 13 .. 130, as amended,

O a petition in writing requestin� that certain territory contiguous
� to the City of Renton , as hereinafter more particularly descr�bed, be

annexed to the City of P.enton , was duly presented and filed with the
City Clerk on or about August 5 , 1980 , and
L1HER.EAS prior t_o the f il_in� and circulatian of said petition
for annexation to the City of Renton , the petitioning owners duly
notified the City Council �f their intention to commence such pro-
ceedings as provided by lac�� , and a� r�ore particular. ly specified in
RCW 35 . 13 . 125 and upon publi.c hearint; thereon , it havin� been deter-
mined and the petitionin� c�wner� having so agreed to assume the pre-
existing bonded indebtecinc�ss <�f thc� City of Renton as same pertains
to the territory petitioned to he annexed; and to accept that portion
of the City' s Comprehensive Plan as same pertains to the subject
territory including the applicable zoning code relating thereto, and
WHERE�S the Planning D�partment has duly examined and
verified the si;natures on said petiti.on for annexations and deter-
mined the assessed valuati�n of a11 the properties , the same being
in excess of 75�0 of the ar�a to he annexed, in value , as provided by
law and said petition also settin� forth the legal description of
the property according to �overnment le�al subdivision or plat and
the Plannin�; Departmen�_ c�f thc� c:i t y c,f Renton having duly considered
and recommended the annexin�; of said property to the Citv of Renton;
and
WHEREAS the Citv Council fixed October 27, 1900 at
8 : 00 P .M. as the time and place for public hearing in the City Council
Chambers , City Hall , Renton , ��ashin�;tonr upon said petition and notice
thereof having been dulv �iven a;; provided by 1aw, and �

WHEREAS pursuant to saicltiotice a public hearing has been
held at the time and �lace specified in the aforesaid notice and the

Opetition and further determined that all legal reauirements and
� procedures of the law applicable to the petition method for annexation

� as snecified in RCW 35 . 13 . 130 et se� have been duly complied with,

WHEREAS a proper "i�otice of Intention" having been filed
with the King County Boundary Revie�a Board as required by law, and
said Boundary Review Board havin�; duly u�aived its jurisdiction
thereover as per its letter dated March 16 , 1981
NOtid THEREFORE , Tt�E CITY COtit1CIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHITIGTON , DO ORDAIN AS FOLL0��1S :
SEC1IOtJ I : The aforc�s��id findings , recitals and determina-
tions are hereby found to be true and correct in all respects ; all
requirements of the lac� in regard to the annexation by petition
method, includin�; the provisions of RCW 35 . 13 . 125 , 130 , 140 , 150
and Chapter 1�s9 , Session Laws of 1967 , have been duly complied with.
It is further determined that the above Mentioned Petition for annexa-
tion to t?ze Citv of Renton o � the prc>perty and territory hereinbelow
described be and the same is hereby approved and granted; the
following described pronertv bei.ng contiauous to the City Limits of
the City of Renton , be a.nd tl�e s<�nie is hereby annexed to the City of
Renton and such annexation �c� he c�ffective on and after the approval ,
passage and puhlication of this Orclinance ; and on and after said
date said property shall be and constitute a part of the City of Renton
and shall be subject to ail i.ts laws and ordinances then and there-
after in force and effect ; saici pr�perty being described as follows :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if. fully set forth herein.

and the owners-�etitioners of the aforedescribed prorerty shall
assume the pre-existitlg bonded in�ebtedness of the City of Renton

the �:inh Countv Council , �tate c�f l,iatihington , and as otherwise providecl
by law.
SECTIOI� III : The ahc�ve described annexea property ,
contiguous to Precinct I�o . __ ��; c�F t]Ze City of Renton shall be
and constitute a part of Precinct i1o . 23 of said City.
