about February 17 , 1982 , and said petition having been signed by
the owners representing more than two-thirds (2/3) of the rroperty
abutting upon such public ri�nt of way sou�ht to be vacateu ; and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution �10 . 2438 �assed and
approved on P�Iarcn 1 , 1982 , and after due inve,,t�gation, did fix
and determine tne 19th dav of Apr.il , 1982 , at the hour of b : 00 P .:�I.
in the Citv Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be t?�e time
ancl place for a public hearin� thereon , and the Citv Clerk liavin�
given due notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law,
and all persons havin, been heard appearing in favor or in oppositio�
thereto ; and the Citv Cauncil having considered ali information
�nd ar�uments presented to it ; and
WHEREAS the Department of Public Works of the City of

East, W.M. , in King County, Washington, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerlines of the City of Seattle's
Cedar River Pipeline and Rainier Avenue South ( Primary State Highway No.S )
as now established; thence S 3°57'35" W along the centerline of said Rainier
Avenue South a distance of 317.37 feet to the intersection with the centerline
of S.W. Harris Place ( Mitchell St. ) ; thence S 75°24'47" W along said center-
line , a distance of 311.83 feet to the intersection of the northerly extension
of a line 0.50 feet west and parallel to an existing eight inch concrete wall;
thence S 0°12'28" E along said line, a distance of 11.87 feet to a point on
the northerly line of Parcel "B" as described in that certain vacation ordi-
nance of the City of Renton, No. 3204 and filed under Auditor's No. 7803270680;
