AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, --�-
VACATING A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD ��34, LYING NORTH
OF I-405 , LYI�IG SOUTH OF VACAiED S .E . 72ND STREET
(VAC-07-82 - CHEEVER)
p�j WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a portion of County

Q Road ��34, lying Dlortn. of I-405 , lying South of vacated S . E. 72nd Street
�
� Renton, King County, Washington, was duly filed with the City Clerk
�
� on or about October 18 , 1982 , and said petition having been signed
�
by the owners representing more than two-thirds (2/3) of the property
abutting upon such street sou�ht to be vacated; and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No . 2842 passed and
approved on November 15 , 1982 , and after due investi�ation, did fix and
determine the 13th day of December , 1982 at the hour of 8 : 00 P .M. in
the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time and
place for a public hearing thereon, and the City Clerk izaving �iven
due notice of such hearin� in the manner provided by law, said izearing
continued to January 13 , 1983 , and all persons having been heard appearing
in favor or in opposition thereto ; and the City Council 'naving considered
all information and arguments presented to it ; and
WHEREAS the Board of Public Works of the City of Renton having
duly considered said petition �or said vacation, and having found same
to be in the publ.ic interest and for the public benefit , and no injury
or damage to any person or properties will result from such vacations ;
N04J THEREFOR�, THE CITY COliNCIL OF THE CITY OF RErITON,
WASHINGTUN, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The following described portion of street , to-wit :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof
as if fully set forth herein. �
BE AND THE SAME IS �iEkEBY VACATED, subject to an easement over ,
across , under and on all of the aforedescribed property in favor of the
City for utility and related purposes .
