The second deadline is for the parties who filed reconsideration motions (the City and Quadrant) to file replies. The 7-day extension request from the City and Applicant is granted. The revised deadlines for parties of record to file a response would be 5:00pm January 16, 2019 and replies from parties making the reconsideration request by 5:00pm January 18, 2019. We appreciate the progress we've made to date and are hopeful we can agree on revised condition language to present to the Examiner next week. I also wanted to clarify our understanding of the briefing timelines, which is slightly different from the City's. As we understand it, the first deadline is for all parties (the City, Quadrant, and all parties of record) to respond to the motions. The second deadline is for the parties who filed reconsideration motions (the City and Quadrant) to file replies. We would appreciate your clarification. Thanks. City staff has consulted with the applicant and their counsel regarding this extension request and both parties have agreed to the 7-day extension. Progress has been made to date, as City staff and the applicant have had a meeting and several phone and email correspondences concerning the reconsideration, however it is unlikely the City will have a final response by the deadline of January 11, 2019. Should the Hearing Examiner approve the deadline extensions, the revised deadlines for parties of record would be 5:00pm January 16, 2019 and replies from parties making the reconsideration request by 5:00pm January 18, 2019. In addition to the reconsideration extension request, City staff respectively requests clarification of the two (2) deadlines imposed by the reconsideration order. Staff would like clarification as to whether replies from external parties of record would be due on January 16, 2019 and that both the applicant and the City would not be subject to this deadline. The City and applicant responses would be due on January 18, 2019. Thank you for your consideration. Matt Herrera, AICP - Senior Planner City of Renton Community & Economic Development 1055 S.
