My name is Christopher L. Johnson. My wife Andrea and I live at 16404 SE 135TH Street, Renton, WA 98059. We have lived here for over 17 years. The beauty of living on a dead end street
is that it has provided a protected neighborhood where children can play without worry and safety concerns of traffic. All adults here look out for the safety of our community's children.
Currently there are ten children on our street who are under the age of twelve. Opening 164th to through traffic would end this protected environment and put children at significantly
increased danger of injury related to cars. The families on our street will no longer be able to control the flow of unknown people through this once protected area. Please do not proceed
with plans to make 164th into a through street.
