AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT FOR PARKS, RECREATION,
AND NATURAL AREAS PLAN UPDATE
THIS AMENDMENT, dated I (6\ , is by and between the City of Renton (the "City"), a
Washington municipal corpora ion, and MIG, Inc. ("Consultant"), a Washington Corporation.The
City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the "Parties." Once fully
executed by the Parties,this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-19-017, dated
01/23/2019, to provide necessary services for the Parks, Recreation and Natural Areas Plan
Update (referred to herein as the "Agreement");
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the scope of work in order to
further inclusive engagement efforts, add a Committee of the Whole presentation, and ad a
Spanish Language print ad.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-19-017 is amended as follows:
1. Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to add work as specified in Exhibit
A, which is attached and incorporated herein.
2. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of
compensation payable to Consultant is increased by$5,150 from $ 206,993 to $212,143,
plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional compensation shall be paid
based upon Work actual performed according to the rate(s) or amounts specified in
Exhibit A, which is attached and incorporated herein.
3. All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Agreement as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.

MIG hereby requests authorization to proceed with additional services as based on the following
Scope of Services:
A—COW Presentation May 2019: MIG will develop a presentation for staff to deliver to the
City Council Committee of the Whole based on the outcomes of the inclusive engagement,
Community Open House #1, and interactive map exercise. Staffing analysis data and preliminary
findings will also be included to continue the story started with the implementation report card
and moving toward the plan infographics.The presentation will be provided in both PDF and
PPT formats for an initial staff review. MIG will revise this draft and provide for final approval
by senior staff. One additional round of edits will be completed before the presentation is due for
the COW package. ($1,980)
B — Spanish Language Interactive Map Ad: MIG will revise the La Raza ad produced for the
Open House to direct people to the interactive map exercise. MIG will utilize previously
translated text and a fluent Spanish-speaking staff member to review the final ad. The file will be
delivered per the specification provided by La Raza for a '/4 page ad. ($230)
C—Additional Task Force Partners for Inclusive Engagement (2): MIG will train, provide
stipends and oversight for two additional Inclusive Task Force members to assist in the two
rounds of inclusive engagement activities. ($2,940)
