Call to Order of Regular Meeting Thank you letters from Budkis fund owners (Mij and Chuck Charbonneau) and Renton Community Foundation Budkis Fund donation. Marge confirmed that Sandy closed out all financial accounts by 12/21/18. 2. Approval of Agenda 3. Approval of Minutes a. Approval of minutes; need quorum to approve; will need to wait until next mtg 4. Discussion/Action Items a. lkuta Plaque L Discussion on where to place plaque; b. Advisory Board openings i. Debbie will contact twelve individuals who previously applied and see if they are still interested; Board will comprise of 15 members total, so we have 7 openings; Debbie is currently working on new questions for applicants; send questions to Debbie; online for Debbie and Carrie will work with City Communications team to develop Press release on board openings, and post in other city outlets c. Coffee bar: Carrie will get updated timeline from Michael is and email out to board members and bring an updated design packet to Debbie and Sean. d. Board Training: all advisory members will need to complete open public meeting act online or in-person training; Carrie will check with City Clerk's office to clarify training requirements, and to see who needs to complete training; any board members Wheelchair Accessible.American Sign Language(AL)interpreter available upon request. Updates from Debbie: Elane Rosok is new Recreation Assistant assigned to Senior Center; new recreation software PerfectMind is up and running now, go to: hLt�sdt�ofre�inton. �erfectmindx�QEI to set up an account; have Lisa attend Feb. meeting to do an overview on PerfectMind; need to set date in early September for 40th anniversary of Senior Center; Health Expo will be in October; add both of these events as set agenda items b. Updates from Sean: New Year's Eve party and National Spaghetti Day Luncheon were successful; David Rystrom won pool tournament, 2019 Pool Champion ; classes start this week; new active yoga class; fun trips coming up, all in Golden Opportunities; c. Updates from Carrie: Mayor Law not running for re-election, so will be interesting political year in Renton; City of Renton Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Plan will be updated in 2019. First community input meeting is Feb. 28th, 6pm at Renton Community Center. d. Updates from Maggie on Needs Assessment: attach summary of results; will continue to do more outreach to Hispanic, African American, and Vietnamese seniors through March; Maggie will present final needs assessment findings at a future meeting. 6.
