("Consultant"), a Washington State Professional Services Corporation. The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the "Parties." Once fully executed by the Parties,this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties. Whereas,the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-17-153, dated July 13, 2017, to provide necessary services for the Architectural and Engineering Services, Production of Permit and Bid Documents, Assistance with Bidding, Construction Administration and Project Close-Out(referred to herein as the"Agreement"); Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to provide professional services necessary to replace the Emergency Generator in Renton City Hall required to provide emergency power to the elevators and other critical systems. NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-17-153 is amended as follows: 1. Scope of Work:Section 1,Scope of Work, is amended to add work as specified in Exhibit A-2,which is attached and incorporated herein. 2. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $82,897.00 from $365,118.00 to $448,015.00 plus any applicable state and local sales taxes.The additional compensation shall be paid based upon Work actual performed according to the rate(s) or amounts specified in Exhibit A-2 which is attached and incorporated herein. 3. All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if fully set forth herein. Project Scope: 1. Removal of existing chain link fence to allow for access to generator space. 2. Removal of existing(2)generators and supporting equipment. 3. Installation of(1) replacement generator that would replace the load capacity of the original (2)generators. 4. Installation of supporting equipment. 5. Reuse of existing penetrations in building for adequate venting. 6. Replacement of chainlink fence with stronger fencing that includes man door. 7. Retain location of man door access to enclosure to allow for relief from requirement for remote fueling station. Design Team Scope: 1. Services for architectural, mechanical,and electrical design services. 2. Load testing for one panel served by generators. 3. Design and production of draft design documents and an opportunity for Authority Having Jurisdiction)AHJ to review and recommend revisions. 4. Design and production of final bid documents and an opportunity for Owner review and revisions. 5. Bidding assistance. 6. Construction administration and close out. 7. Punch list and Final Completion paperwork. Further, it is anticipated that existing structure will be able to support one generator where there was previously two. If additional structural work beyond review of documents and confirmation of this anticipation are required then those efforts will be considered additional services to the base contract.
