The Local Agency of City of Renton desires to supplement the agreement entered into
and executed on 03/17/98 as identified above. All provisions in the basic agreement remain in
effect except as expressly modified by this supplement.
The changes to the agreement are described as follows:
Project Description
Name East Valley Road Rehabilitation Length 1.01 miles
Termini SW 41st Street to 43rd Avenue SW
Description of Work
Remove existing asphalt on portions of East Valley Road,and at intersection of SW 43rd Street;replace with concrete pavement
panels,grind remaining asphalt pavement;overlay with two(2)and three(3)inch thick structural matrix asphalt(SMA).
Reason for Supplement
Additional funding of$200,000 received from Puget Sound Regional Council and an additional$149,711 of NHS funding for a
total increase of$349,711.
