ARTICLE 4 CONTRACT SUM 4.1 The Owner shall pay the Contractor the Contract Sum in current funds for the Contractor's performance of the Contract. The Contractor shall submit each Application for Payment a minimum of one week before each month's Cut Off date. Payment will be made according to the City's Accounts Payable Calendar. 5.1.3 Provided that an Application for Payment is received by the Architect Contractor not later than the day of a month,the Owner shall make payment to the Contractor not later than the day of the month. If an Application for Payment is received by the Architect after the application date fixed above,payment shall be made by the Owner not later than days after the Architect receives the Application for Payment. Verify that foundation,floor slab, mechanical and electrical utilities, and placed anchors are in correct position 3.02 ERECTION -FRAMING A. Erect framing in accordance with AISC Specification for Structural Steel Buildings. B. Provide for erection and wind loads. Provide temporary bracing to maintain structure plumb and in alignment until completion of erection and installation of permanent bracing. Locate braced bays as indicated. C. Do not field cut or alter structural members without approval. D. After erection, prime welds, abrasions, and surfaces not shop primed. 3.03 ERECTION -WALL AND ROOF PANELS A. Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. B. Exercise care when cutting prefinished material to ensure cuttings do not remain on finish surface. C. Fasten cladding system to structural supports,aligned level and plumb. D. Locate end laps over supports. End laps minimum 2 inches. Place side laps over bearing. E. Provide expansion joints where indicated. F. Install sealant and gaskets to prevent weather penetration. 3.04 ERECTION-GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS A. Rigidly support and secure components. Join lengths with formed seams sealed watertight. Flash and seal gutters to downspouts. B. Connect downspouts to tight line storm sewer system. 3.05 INSTALLATION -ACCESSORIES A. Size One CBC steel building, 110 feet in width by 90 feet in length with an eave height of 18 feet. The roof will have an 1:12 pitch. There will be three 30- foot bays. 2. Design Loads 25 PSF live load 3 PSF mechanical load 80 MPH exposure "C" wind load 3. Special Framing The main frames will be clear-span with no interior center columns. End wall frames will be standard post and beam design. There will be standard "X" bracing in one bay of each sidewall to resist wind loads. Sidewall girt spacing will be 4 foot on center nominal. Main frames will be shop prime painted. Secondary framing may be shop prime painted or galvanized. 4. Insulation Insulation to be TIMA striped UL rated fiberglass blanket with a heavy duty reinforced vinyl (VRP) facing. The insulation side laps are to be held with double seal tabs and white PVC strips to complete the vapor barrier. Roof— R-19 (6") Walls — R-13 (4") 5. Roof Sheeting Roof sheeting to be CBC's Delta Line design 26 gauge "Zincalume" coated steel with a baked-on "Kynar 500" white finish coating.
