Seth, Deputy Cler BELLEVUE FIRE DEPARTMENT By: Designated R re tative Date: /A91 WHEREAS, the Puget Sound Regional Catastrophic Planning Team (Puget Sound RCPT) has selected the City of Bellevue Fire Department to lead the catastrophic preparedness Structural Collapse Rescue project and DHS /FEMA has approved such project; and WHEREAS, the Bellevue Fire Department requires the input of subject matter experts stationed in fire jurisdictions through the Puget Sound Region, the City of Renton's Fire & Emergency Services Department being one such jurisdiction; and WHEREAS, the City of Bellevue plans to partner with various fire jurisdictions in the Puget Sound Region to develop the Structural Collapse Rescue Plan; WHEREAS, the City of Bellevue has requested the City of Seattle reimburse the appropriate jurisdiction directly for such costs. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the terms, conditions, covenants and performance of the descriptions of services and special conditions contained herein, or as attached and made a part hereof, the parties hereto agree as follows: ARTICLE I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES Renton Fire & Emergency Services Department personnel will participate in Structural Collapse Rescue planning and shall, upon approval of the City of Bellevue, be reimbursed for any allowable backfill and/or overtime costs associated with such participation by the City of Seattle, the oversight agency for the City of Bellevue's project. ARTICLE II. SPECIAL CONDITIONS The Renton Fire & Emergency Services Department shall submit to the City of Bellevue the following documents: A. This Memorandum of Understanding, fully signed and executed; B. A completed W -9 form; C. Appropriate Request for Reimbursement to the City of Seattle that includes backfill and overtime documentation. Such request and documentation shall then be reviewed by the City of Bellevue Program Coordinator for approval and forwarding to the City of Seattle for payment.
