RESOLUTION NO. 4169
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH
KING COUNTY REGARDING DONATION OF A PASSENGER VAN.
WHEREAS, the City and King County are authorized, pursuant to RCW Chapter 39.34, to
enter into an interlocal government cooperative agreement; and
WHEREAS, King County desires to make available retired passenger vans for use by non-
profit organizations or local governments which are able and willing to provide transportation
service to individuals with limited resources and mobility options; and
WHEREAS, the City is able and willing to use such a vehicle for such purposes in
accordance with King County's terms; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document the terms and conditions in an interlocal
agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an
interlocal agreement with King County entitled "Agreement Between King County and City of
Renton" regarding King County's donation of a passenger van.
