RESOLUTION NO. 4157
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
WITH THE SEATTLE-KING COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH.
WHEREAS, the City and the Seattle-King County Department of Public Health have a
mutual interest and benefit in the orderly storage and allocation of medical supplies for use
during an emergency or disaster; and
WHEREAS, the Seattle-King County Department of Public Health owns emergency
preparedness containers that contain medical supplies for use during a regional emergency or
disaster, and the City has space suitable for storing one emergency preparedness container;
and
WHEREAS, the City shall provide storage space for one emergency preparedness
container in the parking lot located at 1719 Maple Valley Highway, Renton, WA 98057; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document the terms and conditions of the storage in a
memorandum of understanding;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a
memorandum of understanding with the Seattle-King County Department of Public Health.
