AN ORDIM410E OF THE CITY OF RE14TONS WASHINGTON,
VACATIM A CERTAIN ALLEY LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 18,
RENTON HIGHLANDS, RENTON, KIM COUNTY, WASHIMTON.
WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a certain alley as hereinafter more
particularly described, was duly filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton
on or about October 31, 1963, said petition being signed by the owners of more
than two-thirds of the property abutting upon said alley sought to be vacated;
and
TiJHEREAS the City of Renton by Resolution No. 1222_ and after due investio.
gation did fix and determine the 13th day of January, 1961, at the hour of 8:00 P.M.
in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time and place for public
hearing thereon, and directed the City Clerk to dive notice of such hearing in the
mariner prcvided by law; and such notice having been duly given and published;
and
WHEREAS a public hearing was duly held upon said petition on the day so
fixed and the Planning Commission having heretofore recommended the vacation of
said alley and said vacation being found to be in the public interest and for the
public benefit and no injury or damage to any person or properties will result
therefrom, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AITD TIS CITY COUITCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLO`JS :
SECTION I- The folloti-r. ng described alley, to -crit
That certain 16 foot alley located within Block 18,
between G Street and 6th lvenue North, all situate
in Renton Highlands, Renton, King County, Washington,
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY VACATED, SUBJECT TO a 10-foot..easement'f6t utility --and

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL the 20th day of January, 1964.
