ORDINANCE NO. 5646
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, REPEALING
ORDINANCE NO. 5136 REGARDING SHORELINE MASTER PROGRAM
REGULATIONS.
WHEREAS, on April 25, 2005, the Council adopted Ordinance No. 5136 adopting the
Shoreline Master Program ("SMP") regulations; and
WHEREAS, the City has to periodically update the SMP; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 5633, dated October 24, 2011, the City adopted a
superseding SMP; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to repeal the previous ordinance adopting the prior SMP;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. City of Renton Ordinance No. 5136 and every section of the Renton
Municipal Code enacted thereby are completely repealed.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval, and thirty
(30) days after publication.
