RESOLUTION NO. 4120
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH
THE SKYWAY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT FOR THE MUTUAL SALE AND
PURCHASE OF WATER DURING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the City and Skyway Water and Sewer District ("the District") jointly
constructed a water system intertie for emergency use; and
WHEREAS, the City and the District mutually agree to provide and sell water to each
other during an emergency event, subject to the availability and quantity of water to be sold;
and
WHEREAS, it would be in the public best interest to have the Agreement executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the
Agreement for the Sale of Water in an Emergency with the District.
