RESOLUTION NO. 4098
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE CITY
CENTER COMMUNITY PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City began the process of developing a plan for the City Center
Community Planning Area ("plan") in the summer of 2009; and
WHEREAS, the plan has been developed with extensive public outreach and in
conjunction with residents, business owners/operators, and other stakeholders; and
WHEREAS, the plan sets the goals and objectives for improving the City Center over the
next 20 years; and
WHEREAS, the plan identifies implementation strategies to facilitate the
accomplishment of the goals and objectives; and
WHEREAS, the plan is compatible with the intent of the City's adopted Comprehensive
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on June 6, 2011, having duly
considered all matters relevant thereto, and all parties having been heard appearing in support
or opposition;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The City Center Community Plan is hereby adopted by the City of
Renton.
