RESOLUTION NO. 4105
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE INTERLOCAL
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF RENTON AND THE CITY OF SEATTLE,
ACTING THROUGH ITS SEATTLE PUBLIC UTILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton and the City of Seattle, also referred to as Seattle Public
Utilities, entered into an Interlocal Agreement on November 9, 1998, which is set to expire by
December 31, 2038; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton and the City of Seattle, acting though its Seattle Public
Utilities, mutually desire to amend the Interlocal Agreement to extend the termination date of
the agreement; and
WHEREAS, it would be in the public's best interest to have the amendment executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Amendment
No. 1 to the Interlocal Agreement with City of Seattle, acting through its Seattle Public Utilities.
