HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 5511Amends ORD 4908, 5062 CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 5511 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT; AND CHAPTER 4, CITY-WIDE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS, OF TITLE IV (DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE NO. 4260 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON", BY REMOVING THE ANNUAL RENEWAL FEE FOR A-FRAME SIGNS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. Subsection 4-1-140M.3, Temporary and Portable Signs, of Chapter 1, Administration and Enforcement, of Title IV (Development Regulations) of Ordinance No. 4260, entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington", is hereby amended to read as follows: 3. TEMPORARY AND PORTABLE SIGNS: Real Estate Directional Signs, pursuant to RMC 4-4-100J2 Grand Opening Event Signs, pursuant toRMC4-4-100J6d(l) Event Signs, pursuant to RMC 4-4- 100J6d(2) and (3) A-Frame Signs, pursuant to RMC 4-4- 100J5 Commercial Property Real Estate Banner Decorative Flags Fee Amount $50.00 per sign, permit valid for a 12- month period $25.00 per site, per opening $15.00 per type of sign identified in RMC 4-4-100J6b, per promotion $100.00 for the first sign and $50.00 for each additional sign $50.00 per sign, permit valid for a 12- month period $50.00 per entrance, permit valid until flag(s) removed ORDINANCE NO. 5511 SECTION II. Subsection 4-4-100J.5.I, Permit Required, of Chapter 4, City-Wide Property Development Standards, of Title IV (Development Regulations) of Ordinance No. 4260, entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington", is hereby amended to read as follows: I. Permit Required: A permit is required for each A-frame sign, and remains valid indefinitely for the business using the sign. SECTION III.
