AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON
ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY ANNEXED WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM R-4
(URBAN RESIDENTIAL,4 DU PER ACRE,KING COUNTY ZONING)
TO R-4 (RESIDENTIAL 4 DUlAC;FOUR DWELLING-UNITS PER
ACRE)(pERKINS ANNEXATION,FILE NO.A-05-006).
WHE.REAS,under Section 4.2.020 of Chapter 2,Zoning Districts -Uses and Standards,
of Title IV (Development Regulations)of Ordinance No.4260 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City ofRenton,Washin~on,"as am~nded,and the maps and reports adopted
in conjunction therewith,the property hereinbelow described has not been zoned in the City of
Renton;and
WHEREAS,the property owners petitioned the City ofRenton for annexation and
concurrent rezoning,and the annexation has been approved and the property annexed to the City
of Renton,and the City has held two public hearings to consider this zoning application,with the
.z()I1ing request is iI1(~()IlforITIity with the City's <::;()ITIprehensive Plan,(l~aITIeIlclecl,and the City
Council has considered all matters relevant thereto,and all parties have been heard appearing in
support thereof or in opposition thereto;
NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIONL The following described property in the City ofRenton is hereby
zoned to R ...4 as hereinbelow specified.The annual ordinance adopting the maps of the City's
zoning ordinance is amended to evidence said rezoning and the EDNSP Administrator is

authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance,as amended,to evidence
said rezoning,to wit:
See Exhibit"A"attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein.
[Said property, approximately 15.04 acres,is located primarily along the west side
of ]32nd Avenue SE with a small portion on the east side,and north of SE 98th
Street,if extended.]
SECTION II.

This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage,approval,and

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
The north 491.24 feet of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 4,
Township 23 North,Range 5 East,W.M.,in King County, Washington;EXCEPT that
portion of the east 30 feet thereof lying southerly of the existing City Limits of Renton,as
amlexed by Ordinance No.4195;
TOGETHER WITH that portion ofthe west 30 feet (132Dd Ave SE)of the northwest
quarter ofthe northwest quarter of Section 3,Township 23 North,Range 5 East,W.M.,in
King County,Washington,lying northerly of the existing City Limits of Renton,as
annexed by Ordinance No.4195;and TOGETHER WITH the south 120 feet of the north
384 feet of the east 181.5 feet ofthe west 211.5 feet of said northwest quarter ofthe
EXCEPT roads.
