ORDINANCE NO.5291
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON
AMENDING THE 2007 BUDGET TO AUTHORIZE $429,420 FROM
GRANT REIMBURSEMENT TO THE GENERAL FUND BALANCE FOR
THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING EQUIPMENT FOR THE RENTON
FIRE DEPARTMENT.
NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASIllNGTON,DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.Appropriation in the General Fund is hereby increased as follows:

Fire Suppression Machinery and Equipment $300,000 $429,420 $729,420

Source of funds:Fund Balance (Grant Reimbursement)
SECTION II.Funds for this line item are hereby removed from the year-end fund
balance.
SECTION ill.This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage,
approval and five (5)days after publication.
