RESOLUTION NO.3954
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN STATE OF
WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (WSDOT)AND
CITY OF RENTON,REGARDING THE COOPERATIVE OPERATION
OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE 1-405 RAMP LOCATED ON TALBOT
ROAD SOUTH.
WHEREAS,City staff has determined that interagency cooperation and coordination of
the state-owned traffic signals to be constructed at the new 1-405 ramp terminals on Talbot Road
South with adjacent traffic signals on Talbot Road South and Grady Way,are both desirable and
necessary;
NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON,DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.The above findings are true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II.The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the
Memorandum of Understanding Between State of Washington and City of Renton regarding the
cooperative operation of traffic signals at the 1-405 ramp located on Talbot Road South.
