RESOLUTION NO.3984
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH WASHINGTON STATE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REGARDING REPAIR OF
CITY -OWNED BRIDGES.
WHEREAS,the City of Renton has a need to have certain work performed on bridges
within its jurisdiction and under its control;and
WHEREAS,the state of Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT)has the
necessary equipment,technical skills,and available time;and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to memorialize the terms under which WSDOT will provide
bridge maintenance services for the repair of City-owned bridges;
NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON,DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
SECTION II.
The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an
interlocal agreement with WSDOT entitled Bridge Work Agreement,Agreement Number GCA-
5929,for the purpose of repair of City-owned bridges.
