RESOLUTION NO.4004
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH KING COUNTY REGARDING FUNDING FOR
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE RENTON FIRE &
EMERGENCY SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR 2009-2013.
WHEREAS,the City has need for funding to support basic life support services;and
WHEREAS,the funding provided under this contract is intended for basic life support
services;and
WHEREAS,King County proposed to make certain funds available for 2009 with
support for 2010 through 2013 to be determined later;and
WHEREAS,the proposed contract establishes the terms and conditions for the funding
from 2009 through 2013;
NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON,DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
SECTION II.
The above recitals are found to be true anq correct in all respects.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a
contract with King County entitled King County Contract For Basic Life Support Services,King
County Contract No.D39144D,for funding from 2009 through 2013 and such extensions or
amendments that do not materially alter the contract.
