RESOLUTION NO.3890
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON,AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH
THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
(WSDOT)CONCERNING FUNDING OF A PROJECT COORDINATOR
FOR THE 1-405/1-5 TO SR169 STAGE ONE WIDENING PROJECT
WHEREAS,the City and WSDOT have plans to widen 1-405 from 1-5 to SR169,and
WHEREAS,the City and WSDOT have entered into a number of memoranda of
understanding,agreements,and interlocal agreements concerning such widening,and
WHEREAS,WSDOT wishes the City of Renton to provide a project coordinator for
Stage One of the widening project with WSDOT providing certain funds for that position,and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to detail the terms and conditions under which WSDOT will
provide the funds and the City will provide the project coordinator,
NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON,DOES RESOLVB AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
SECTIONll.
The above findings are true and correct in all respects.
The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to enter into an Interlocal
Cooperative Agreement with WSDOT concerning the provision by the City and payment by
WSDOT of funds for a project coordinator for the I-405/I-5 to SR169 Stage One widening
project.
