A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON,
SETTING A HEARING DATE TO VACATE A PORTION OF N.14TI1
STREET EAST OF LAKE WASHINGTON BLVD.N.AND GENE
COULON BEACH PARK (pOOL BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION,LL.C.,
PETITIONERS;VAC-05-001).
WHEREAS,a Petition has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on
January 24,2005,pursuant to the requirements ofRCW 35.79,petitioning for the vacation ofa
portion ofN.14th Street,also known as the southerly half ofMorgan Avenue or S.E.110th Street,
east of Lake Washington Blvd.N.and Gene Coulon Beach Park,as hereinafter more particularly
described,and the petition having been signed by the owners of more than two-thirds (2/3)ofthe
property abutting upon the street portion sought to be vacated,and described as follows:

NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASIDNGTON,DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIONL That April 4th ,2005,at the hour of 7:30 P.M.at the City Council
Chambers at City Hall,Renton,King County,Washington,is hereby fixed as the time and place
for a public hearing to consider the Petition for vacating a portion ofN.14th Street,also known
as the southerly half of Morgan Avenue or S.E.1l0th Street,east of Lake Washington Blvd.N.
and Gene Coulon Beach Park,which hearing date is not more than sixty nor less than twenty days
from the date of passage ofthis Resolution.

RESOLUTION NO.3740
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give notice of
the time and date of this hearing as provided in RCW 35.79.020 and any and/or all persons
interested therein or objecting to this vacation may then appear and be heard,or they may file
their written objections with the City Clerk at or prior to the time ofhearing on this vacation.
SECTIONm The City Council shall determine,as provided in RCW 35.79.030,
as to whether an appraisal shall be secured to determine the fair market value of the property
sought to be vacated as provided for in Ordinance No.4266,and the amount of compensation to
be paid by the Petitioner-Owners to the City for this vacation.
The City likewise reserves the right to retain an easement for public utility and related
purposes.
