RESOLUTION NO.3756
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE WASHINGTON STATE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ENTITLED "AGREEMENT
GCA-4310 1-405 CONGESTION RELIEF AND BUS-RAPID TRANSIT
PROJECTS RIGHT OF WAY PLAN DEVELOPMENT."
WHEREAS,the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOn is proposing
a series of projects to improve the l-405 corridor;and
WHEREAS,right-of-way plans will be needed to be developed for the entire corridor;
and
WHEREAS,preparing right-of-way plans for the corridor will require extensive work,
including surveying and base mapping;and
WHEREAS,a portion of the surveying and base mapping work is located within the City
ofRenton'scorporatelimus;and
WHEREAS,the City desires to assist the State of Washington in paying for the work
required to prepare the right-of-way plans for the portion of the surveying and base mapping
being done within the City's corporate limits,but limited to the amount of $250,000;and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to document the terms and conditions under which the City
will assist the state in paying for this work;
NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON,DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.The above findings are true and correct in all respects.

The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to enter into an interlocal
cooperative agreement with WSDOT entitled "Agreement GCA-431O 1-405 Congestion Relief
and Bus-Rapid Transit Projects Right of Way Plan Development."
