RESOLUTION NO.3768
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
ADDENDUM TO THE INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
FOR THE VALLEY SPECIAL RESPONSE TEAM,REGARDING THE
PROCESSING OF CLAIMS.
WHEREAS,in 2003 the cities of Renton,Auburn,Kent,Tukwila,Federal Way,and the
Port of Seattle entered into an interlocal cooperative agreement ("Agreement")for the creation of
the Valley Special Response Team;and
WHEREAS,an addendum to the Agreement has been developed ("Addendum One"),
which will establish a process to assist the participating agencies of the Valley Special Response
Tearn in processing and responding to claims and lawsuits;and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to document the terms and conditions under which the Valley
Special Response Team will operate;
NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASIDNGTON,DOES RESOLVB AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
SECTIONll.
The above findings are true and correct in all respects.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
Addendum One to the interlocal cooperative agreement ofthe Valley Special Response Team.
