HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2075CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO.-2U75 WHEREAS The City of Renton,Washington,has heretofore prepared a certain “City of Renton Community Development Plan”relating to certain 1977 Block Grants Programs including the following items, to-wit: Housing and Community Development Planning and Implementation $40,296 Park for the Handicapped (Provides parking andlandscapingfortheSr.Citizens Center)160.000 Senior Citizens Activity Center 150.000 Cedar River Trail System 150,000 Preventive Health Care 15,000 and $515,296 WHEREAS publiO hearings were held on this matter in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton on Nov.8 id 15,1976,after due notice thereof was published as required by law,and all persons having been heard thereon and the City Council having duly considered said Plan in its entirety,and WHEREAS it has been duly determined that the adoption of such Plan would be in the best interest of the City of Renton and for the public benefit,NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON,as follows: SECTION I;The above recitals and findings are hereby found to be true and correct in all respects. SECTION II:That certain “City of Renton Community Development Plan”,a true copy of which is attached hereto,labeled Exhibit T’, and made a part hereof as if fully set forth,is hereby adopted and confirn.ed ii all respec :s as the “City of Renton Community Development lan’Said projects shall be funded as set forth in the attached Exhibits 1,B t.—1— SECTION III:The City Clerk is hereby authorized to certify this Resolution in sufficient copies and furnish same to the appropriate governmental agencies.
