ORDINANCE NO.5067
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON,
AMENDING CHAPTER 5-1,FEE SCHEDULE,OF TITLE V (FINANCE
AND BUSINESS REGULATIONS)OF ORDINANCE NO.4260
ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
RENTON,WASHINGTON"BY SETTING AQUATIC CENTER
ADMISSION FEES.
WHEREAS,the City of Renton wishes to provide to its citizens the most cost effective
services possible;and
WHEREAS,the City Council has adopted a policy that the Aquatic Center Admission
fees shall cover the costs of services;
NOW THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASIllNGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.Section 5-1-7 of Chapter 5-1,Fee Schedule,of Title V (Finance
and Business Regulations)of Ordinance No.4260 entitled "Code of General Ordinances ofthe
City of Renton,Washington"is hereby amended to read as follows:
5-1-7:AQUATIC CENTER ADMISSION FEES:
Admission for the Aquatic Center shall be as follows:
Resident Children 4 and younger Free
Non-resident Children 4 and younger Free
DAY USE SEASON PASS
Resident Youth 5-12
Non-resident Youth 5-12
Resident Teen 13-17
Non-resident Teen 13-17

Staff has the authority to offer discounted daily rates for partial sessions or
Renton-only events.

Day Camp Administrative Fee**
$0.25
$25.00 per reservation
**A $25 fee will be charged to individual outside day camp groups bringing
their participants to the aquatic center.
Resident Swimming Lessons,per session
Non-resident Swimming Lessons,per session
Resident Canopy Rental,per 4-hour period
Non-resident Canopy Rental,per 4-hour period
