ORDINANCE NO. 4980
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
ADDING THE POSITION OF SECRETARY I TO THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT, EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2002.
WHEREAS, the City has identified an ongoing need for a Secretary I position in the Fire
Department; and
WHEREAS, the addition of a Secretary I position in the Fire Department shall be paid
for with 2002 budget savings;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. One new position, Secretary I, is hereby added to the Fire
Department in the Administrative Division, effective September 1, 2002. This shall increase
the total number of Full Time Employees (FTEs) in the Fire Department to 117.0.
SECTION II. The monies for the new Secretary I position in the Fire
Department shall be derived from 2002 budget savings.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval, and
five days after publication.
