ORDINANCE NO. 4869
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 4-2-110.A OF CHAPTER 2, LAND USE
DISTRICTS, OF TITLE IV (DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS) OF
ORDINANCE NO. 4260 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON"
RELATING TO LOT COVERAGE STANDARDS IN THE R-5 AND THE
R-8 ZONES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The subsection titled "Maximum Building Coverage" located
under "Building Standards" in Table 4-2-110.A, Development Standards for Single Family
Residential Zoning Designations (Primary and Attached Accessory Structures), of Chapter 2,
Land Use Districts, of Title IV (Development Regulations) of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled
"Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington" is hereby amended as shown
on Exhibit A, to read as follows:
R-5 Zone: Lots greater than 5,000 sq. ft., 35% or 2,500 sq. ft. whichever is greater
Lots 5,000 sq. ft. or less, 50%
R-8 Zone: Lots greater than 5,000 sq. ft., 35% or 2,500 sq. ft. whichever is greater
Lots 5,000 sq. ft. or less, 50%
SECTION II. An emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance shall take
effect immediately upon its adoption.
