RESOLUTION NO. 3643
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATION TO
COMPLETE AND FILE AN APPLICATION WITH THE FEDERAL
AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR A GRANT FOR THE
RUNWAY/TAXIWAY LIGHTING, PAVING AND SIGNAGE PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City ofRenton maintains a municipal airport; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to make certain improvements to the runways, taxiway
Hghting, paving and signage; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has grant funds available for such work;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to file a grant apphcation with the Federal Aviation
Administration; and
WHEREAS, that grant application requires that the governing body of the City
authorized the filing ofthis grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above findings are true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The Administration is hereby authorized to sign the Federal
Aviation Administration grant apphcation for the runway/taxiway, Hghting, paving and signage
project.
