HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 3562CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 3562 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, APPROVING FINAL PLAT (EDMONDS PLAT, FILE NO. LUA-02- 023FP). WHEREAS, a petition for the approval of a final plat for the subdivision of a certain tract of land as hereinafter more particularly described, located within the City of Renton, has heretofore been duly approved by the Planning/Building/Public Works Department; and WHEREAS, after due investigation the Administrator of the Planning/Building/Public Works Department has considered and recommended the approval of said final plat, and such approval being deemed proper and advisable and in the public interest; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that appropriate provisions are made for the public health, safety, and general welfare and for such open spaces, drainage ways, streets or roads, alleys, other public ways, transit stops, potable water supplies, sanitary wastes, parks and recreation, playgrounds, schools and schoolgrounds and all other relevant facts, including sidewalks and other planning features that assure safe walking conditions for students who walk to and from school; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the public use and interest will be served by the platting of such subdivision and dedication; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The above findings are true and correct in all respects. RESOLUTION NO. 3562 SECTION II. The final plat heretofore submitted and approved by the Planning/Building/Public Works Department pertaining to the following described real estate, to wit: See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth (The property, consisting of approximately!.78 acres, is located in the vicinity of Edmonds Avenue NE and NE 12th Street) be and the same is hereby approved as such plat, subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton, and subject to the findings, conclusions, and recommendation of the Planning/Building/PubMc Works Department dated April 1, 2002.
