RESOLUTION NO. 3564
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY, TRADE, AND
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ENTITLED, "PUBLIC WORKS TRUST
FUND CONSTRUCTION LOAN AGREEMENT NUMBER PW-02-691-045"
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE CT PIPELINE FOR WELLS RW-1, RW-2
& RW-3 PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the water from wells RW-1, RW-2 and RW-3 needs to be provided with
additional disinfectant contact time in order to reduce the risk of water borne disease and to
comply with WAC 246-290-451 and -640; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has prepared a design, via a consultant, for a project to
provide the additional disinfectant contact time required to comply with WAC 246-290-451 and
-640;and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Trust Fund has agreed to make a construction loan to the
City of Renton; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document that loan by means of an agreement entitled
"Public Works Trust Fund Construction Loan Agreement Number PW-02-691-045;" and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the citizens of the City of Renton to enter into said
agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
RESOLUTION NO. 3564
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the
agreement entitled "Public Works Trust Fund Construction Loan Agreement Number PW-02-
691-045."
