RESOLUTION NO. 3592
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE RENTON
SCHOOL DISTRICT, CONCERNING THE RENTON COMMUNITY
IKEA PERFORMING ARTS CENTER.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has been an active participant in the creation of the
Renton Community IKEA Performing Arts Center (PAC); and
WHEREAS, the PAC is located on School District property and is part of the Renton
High School renovation; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to clarify the roles and responsibUities governing the use of
the PAC; and
WHEREAS, such an agreement has been drafted, and the City has reviewed and
approved that agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above findings are true and correct in aU respects.
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an
interlocal cooperative agreement entitled "Renton Community IKEA Performing Arts Center
Interlocal Agreement."
