RESOLUTION NO. 3606
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, SUPPORTING COUNCILMEMBER KATHY
KEOLKER-WHEELER FOR THE GROWTH MANAGEMENT
PLANNING COUNCIL AND REGIONAL POLICY COMMITTEE, AND
COUNCILMEMBER KING PARKER FOR THE REGIONAL WATER
QUALITY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, the Suburban Cities Association has been formed to represent the interests
of the suburban cities of King County; and
WHEREAS, as part of the duties of the Suburban Cities Association, that Association
makes appointments to certain regional forums; and
WHEREAS, Renton City Councilmember Kathy Keolker-Wheeler has expressed an
interest in serving on the Growth Management Planning Council and the Regional Pohcy
Committee; and
WHEREAS, Renton City Councilmember King Parker has expressed an interest to serve
on the Regional Water Quality Committee; and
WHEREAS, Kathy Keolker-Wheeler and King Parker are informed on the issues that
would come before these regional forums, and are able to represent the interests of the City of
Renton and the Suburban Cities Association;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above findings are true and correct in all respects.
RESOLUTION NO. 3606
SECTION II. The Renton City Council supports the candidacy of Kathy Keolker-
Wheeler for the Growth Management Planning Council and the Regional Pohcy Committee, and
the candidacy of King Parker for the Regional Water Quahty Committee.
