RESOLUTION NO. 3518
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH BRYN MAWR-
LAKERIDGE WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT FOR THE TRANSFER
OF WATER SERVICE TO TEN RESIDENCES IN THE SKYWAY AREA.
WHEREAS, Bryn Mawr-Lakeridge Water and Sewer District ("the District") and
the City of Renton both have water lines available to provide service to ten existing single
family residences in the Skyway area; and
WHEREAS, the District wishes to terminate its water service to the subject
residences; and
WHEREAS, the City has the ability to provide water service to the above residences
with an extension of the City's water main at the District's costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above findings are true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into
Interlocal Cooperative Agreements with Bryn Mawr-Lakeridge Water and Sewer District
concerning the transfer of water service for ten customers in the Skyway area from the
District to the City.
