RESOLUTION NO. 3481
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH
THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR
COMMUTE TRIP REDUCTION FUNDING.
WHEREAS, there are federal funds available to assist the city in achieving implementation
for the Commute Trip Reduction Act; and
WHEREAS, such federal funds are available to the city of Renton through the Washington
State Department of Transportation (WSDOT); and
WHEREAS, there are federal funds available in the amount of $26,185.47, with a required
local match of $4,086.64; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document the terms and conditions under which these federal
funds will be available to the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION H. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an
Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with the Washington State Department of Transportation entitled
COMMUTE TRIP REDUCTION IMPLEMENTATION PLANS AND ENHANCEMENT.
