RESOLUTION NO. 3381
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN KING COUNTY AND THE CITY
OF RENTON REGARDING COUNTY FUNDING FOR THE CITY OF
RENTON 1999 BUSINESS RECYCLING PROGRAM AND SPECIAL
RECYCLING EVENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton, as part of its solid waste collection duties, plans on
sponsoring a Business Recycling Program and a Special Recycling Event during calendar year 1999;
and
WHEREAS, King County has funds available to assist the City in such programs; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of the county grant must be detailed in an agreement;
and
WHEREAS, such agreement is entitled Contract # D 26789 D, Interlocal Agreement
Between King County and the City of Renton;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION H. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Contract # D
26789D entitled Interlocal Agreement Between King County and the City of Renton for county grant
funding for the City of Renton's 1999 Business Recycling Program and Special Recycling Event.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 15th day of March , 1999.
