RESOLUTION NO. 3 3 9 4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT BOARD'S PROJECT
AGREEMENT FOR DESIGN PROPOSAL FOR THE OAKESDALE
AVENUE S.W. PHASE 2 PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has applied to the State of Washington Transportation
Improvement Board for a grant for design funding for the Oakesdale Avenue, S.W. Phase 2
Project located at S.W. 27th Street to S.W. 31" Street; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Improvement Board has certain UATA/TIA funds
available to it; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Improvement Board wishes to make those funds
available to the City upon certain terms and conditions; and
WHEREAS, those terms and conditions are contained within an agreement between the
City and the Transportation Improvement Board;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute and deliver unto appropriate governmental agencies any and all documents relating to the
request for and expenditure of Transportation Improvement Board funds in the amount of
$273,800.00 to be used for the Oakesdale Avenue S.W. — Phase 2 Project located at S.W. 27th
Street to S.W. 31st Street.

SECTION III. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to certify this resolution in
sufficient copies and furnish the same to the appropriate governmental agencies.
