RESOLUTION NO. 3 3 9 5
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN AN
AGREEMENT WITH OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR THE
PROVISION OF HEALTH SERVICES TO THE CITY JAIL.
WHEREAS,the City of Renton maintains a jail facility and as part of that jail facility must
provide health services to its inmates; and
WHEREAS, Occupational Health Services is willing to provide those services to the City
at a cost of$110,916.00 under a one year agreement for services effective April 1, 1999 through
March 31, 2000; and
WHEREAS, this is a renewal of a pre-existing health services contract; and
WHEREAS, the City has maintained a good working relationship with Occupational
Health Services; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interests to provide for health services through an
agreement with Occupational Health Services; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign a one year
agreement commencing April 1, 1999 with Occupational Health Services at a cost of$110,916.00
to provide health services at the City Jail.
