RESOLUTION NO. 3403
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH KING COUNTY TO
FORM A CONSORTIUM ARRANGEMENT FOR PURPOSES OF THE HOME
INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, certain funds are made available for housing assistance activities under the
National Affordable Housing Act of 1990; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton wishes to cooperate with King County in forming a
HOME Program consortium for housing assistance activities; and
WHEREAS, King County is likewise desirous of entering into such a consortium
arrangement; and
WHEREAS, is necessary to enter into an agreement to establish the terms and conditions
under which the consortium will be formed;
NOW, THEREFORE, CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The above findings are true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an
agreement entitled"HOME Investment Partnership Program Interlocal Cooperation Agreement."
