Home My WebLink AboutRES 3413 CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 3 413 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS EQUIPMENT. WHEREAS, the City of Renton has certain items of furniture and equipment and the same being of no further use or benefit to the City's needs, and there being no foreseeable requirement for said furniture or equipment in the future; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City and the general public to dispose of said furniture and equipment on the most advantageous terms available to the City; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The above facts and recitals are hereby found to be true and correct in all respects. SECTION II. The Finance and Information Services Administrator of the City of Renton is hereby authorized and directed to issue a Request for Proposal for the furniture and equipment described in Attachment A and other materials as identified in surplus. SECTION III. The surplus furniture and equipment are to be sold on a cash basis with the successful bidder also responsible for removing all furniture and equipment. All furniture and equipment will be offered in an "as is" condition, without warranty, expressed or implied and the acceptable bid will be final and conclusive. The City will reserve the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities in the form of a proposal.
